Word Press / CMS workshop

The CMS (Content Management System) workshop was conducted for TE Comps students by the BE Comps students of ACM was held on 26th July 2019.

The purpose of the workshop was to get a hands on experience on WordPress. This would help in future projects and tasks. WordPress is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. But in non-geek speak, it's probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.

The Workshop consisted of two parts/sessions.

First Session

The workshop started with a brief introduction about CMS , types of CMS and Application. The basic functions of WordPress were explained and students were instructed to try and explore more functions of WordPress.

Second Session

In the second session the students were given a task to create their own website. The students were very responsive and hence the workshop was a success as the students showed a lot of sincerity, and were eager to create a website and show their skills.
